Four marquise cut green emeralds sit around the centre stone, two on each side, angled outward like leaves growing from a stem. Behind them the band divides into an infinity twist where a pave strand crosses a plain one.

Green against colorless is the whole idea. The emeralds are a deep natural green and they read as botanical rather than decorative, which is why they are cut as marquise leaves rather than rounds.

Mapple Gems is a family run workshop in Surat. The four emeralds are matched for colour before setting, since natural emerald varies more between stones than moissanite does and a mismatched pair is immediately visible. Every ring is made after you order, usually within 10 to 14 working days.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. Emerald is a softer stone than moissanite, around 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, and it can be brittle. Never clean this ring in an ultrasonic cleaner and avoid steam, as both can damage emerald. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Are the green stones real emerald
Yes, they are natural emerald. Only the centre stone and the white pave are moissanite.

Do emeralds need different care
Yes. They are softer than moissanite and should never go in an ultrasonic cleaner. Warm soapy water and a soft brush is all they need.

Will the green fade
No. The colour is natural to the stone and does not fade with wear or light.

Can this ring be resized
By about one size, working at the plain back of the band.

Is moissanite hard enough for daily wear
Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
