Oval Cut Lab Grown Diamond Visible Halo Ring on a Pave Shoulder Band

An oval cut lab grown diamond inside a visible halo of round brilliants, with pave continuing down both shoulders of the band. The halo sits level with the centre stone and is seen from directly above, tracing the oval outline so the diamond reads noticeably larger than its carat weight. The pave then carries that line of light away from the halo and along the finger, which is the difference between this and a halo on a plain shank. Instead of one bright point at the top of the ring, the sparkle runs continuously from the shoulder, around the halo and down the other side. The back of the halo is closed rather than openwork, giving a solid smooth underside against the finger. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Yellow and rose gold outline both the halo and each pave stone with a warm line, so the sparkle reads as distinct points. Frequently asked questions

How is this different from your oval halo on a plain band?
Same visible halo, but that ring leaves the shank completely plain so the sparkle stays concentrated at the top. This one adds pave down both shoulders, so the light runs along the finger as well.

What is the difference between a visible halo and a hidden halo?
A visible halo sits around the centre stone at the top and is seen from above, making the stone look larger. A hidden halo sits underneath the stone below the girdle and only appears from the side. This ring has a visible halo.

How much larger does the halo make the diamond look?
A halo typically adds the appearance of roughly half a carat to a carat depending on the size of the accent stones, without the cost of a larger centre stone.

What does a closed back halo mean?
The underside of the halo is solid metal rather than cut away into openwork. It gives a smooth surface against the finger and a cleaner line from the side.

Will the pave stones need checking?
Bead set pave is secure, but a check every year or two is sensible on any stone set band. Our lifetime pave and prong check covers this at no charge for as long as you own the ring.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
