An oval cut lab grown diamond in six claws with a large pear cut diamond claw set on each side, carried on a band that keeps the same rounded section all the way round the finger rather than tapering toward the back.

Most three stone rings narrow the shank sharply behind the head, which makes the stones look larger by contrast but leaves the ring feeling insubstantial on the hand. This one does the opposite. The band holds an even rounded section from the shoulders right around to the palm, so the whole ring has weight and continuity rather than a heavy top on a thin wire. It changes how the design sits. A uniform shank reads as a solid object and lets the three stones sit on it as a group, which is the correct look for a ring where the side stones are large enough to be judged alongside the centre. Under the head the six claws cross in an open trellis rather than sitting on a closed collar, so the pavilions of all three stones are lit from beneath as well as above. The pears are set with their points outward along the finger and their crowns level with the oval, so the three tables lie on one plane and flash together instead of one at a time. There is no pave, no halo and no engraving anywhere on the ring.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Why does the band not taper
Because a uniform shank gives the ring weight and continuity, which suits a design where the side stones are substantial. Tapering makes the top look bigger but the ring feel slighter.

Will a heavier band make the diamond look smaller
Slightly, compared with a very fine shank. What you gain is a ring that feels solid on the hand and holds three large stones without looking top heavy.

What is a trellis gallery
The claws cross under the stone in an open lattice rather than sitting on a solid collar, which lets light reach the pavilions from below.

Are the pear points protected
Yes. Each sits under a V shaped claw, the standard protection for the most vulnerable part of a pear cut.

Does this ring sit flush with a wedding band
