An oval cut lab grown diamond in six claws with a generously proportioned pear cut diamond claw set close on each side, all three stones carried on an open gallery above a fine tapered band.

The side stones here are large, and that is the point of this version. On most three stone rings the flanking diamonds are small enough to read as accents. Scaled up like this they become part of the centre group, so the three stones together form one wide bright shape across the finger rather than a middle stone with decoration either side. Getting that to work depends entirely on how close they sit. The pears are set right up against the oval with only a hairline of metal between them, which is difficult because each stone needs its own claws and those claws have to share the same narrow space. We build the head as a single open gallery rather than three separate baskets, so the claws rise from a common frame and the gap between the stones stays minimal. The gallery is also cut away underneath, which matters more at this scale. Three large stones sitting on solid metal would go dark in the middle. With the underside open, light passes through all three pavilions and the group stays lit from below as well as above. Below the head the shank narrows quickly to a fine round band so nothing competes with the width of the stones.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

How is this different from a standard three stone ring
The side stones are considerably larger, so the three diamonds read as one wide group rather than a centre stone with accents. It gives far more spread across the finger for the same centre weight.

What is an open gallery
The three heads are built into one frame that is cut away underneath rather than three separate solid baskets. It keeps the stones close together and lets light through all three pavilions.

Are the pear points protected
Yes. Each point sits under a V shaped claw, which is the standard protection for the most vulnerable part of a pear cut.

Will the ring feel bulky
Across the finger it is wide, which is intended. In height it is not, because the open gallery keeps the head shallow and the shank narrows quickly.

Does this ring sit flush with a wedding band
Yes. The shank is straight and unset, so a plain or pave band meets it cleanly on both sides.

How long does the ring take to make
The three stones are matched for colour and set into a shared gallery, which is slow work, so allow eighteen to twenty two working days before dispatch.
