An oval cut lab grown diamond in six claws with a large pear cut diamond on each side turned so that its point faces inward toward the centre and its broad rounded end sits outward toward the shoulder, on a tapered polished band.

Reversing the pears is a small decision with a large effect. Set the usual way, with points outward, a pear side stone runs the design away from the middle and stretches the ring along the finger. Turned around like this, the two points converge on the centre stone and the broad lobes sit at the outer edges, so the whole head reads as a single wide form that swells at the shoulders and narrows toward the middle before opening out again into the oval. It is a heavier, more symmetrical shape than the conventional arrangement and it suits a ring intended to look substantial rather than elongated. It also solves a practical problem. The point of a pear is its most fragile part, and pointing it inward tucks it into the protected space beside the centre stone rather than leaving it exposed at the edge of the ring where it can be knocked. The pears are large, close to the width of the oval itself, and set at the same height so the three crowns lie on one plane and catch light together. The shank tapers away quickly to a fine round band so nothing at the back competes with the width at the top.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why are the pear points turned inward
Two reasons. It makes the head read as one wide symmetrical form rather than an elongated line, and it tucks the fragile point of each pear into the protected space beside the centre stone.

Is that unusual

How large are the side stones
