An oval cut lab grown diamond held in four claws, on a shank whose diamonds and metal both narrow as they run back from the head of the ring. The stones nearest the centre are the largest and the widest point of the band sits directly under them, then everything reduces together towards the back of the finger. The effect is that the shoulders appear to funnel into the centre stone, which is the oldest trick in ring design for making a diamond look larger.

Band details

The shank is at its widest where it meets the setting and tapers steadily towards the back of the finger, carrying diamonds along the wider section only. The narrow rear section is plain and rounded, which also allows the ring to be resized.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the bright unified look shown in the photographs. Yellow gold outlines the taper and each side stone clearly. Rose gold is the warmest of the three. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What does a tapered shank do
It puts the widest metal where the eye is looking and the narrowest where it is not. Practically it also puts the strength under the setting, where the load actually sits.

Are the side stones included in the carat weight shown
No. The carat weight you select refers to the centre stone. The side diamonds are supplied in sizes proportioned to it.

Is a tapered band comfortable
Yes, and many people find it more comfortable than an even band, because the narrow section sits between the fingers where a wide band would press.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. A straight band sits flush against the widest part of the shank. Because the taper begins behind the setting there is no overhang.

How long does it take to make
