An oval cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a plain round band whose underside is hollowed at both shoulders so a wedding ring sits flush against it, with no halo, no pave and no gallery decoration anywhere on the ring.

This is the plainest possible ring that still solves the wedding band problem. Most solitaires sit on a straight shank, and when a straight wedding band is pushed up against one the raised head stops it a millimetre or two short. You end up with a visible wedge of skin between the two rings, or a band that rocks against the claws and slowly wears them. The fix here is a shallow scoop cut into the underside of each shoulder, so the wedding ring slides into that recess and finishes tight against the engagement ring on both sides. From above nothing shows at all, which is the point. It is a piece of engineering, not decoration. Everything else on this ring is deliberately absent. The band is round in section and holds a constant width, the four claws are plain tapered metal folded over the girdle, and the gallery beneath is an open trellis with no piercing, no milgrain and no hidden stones. Somebody buying this is buying a diamond and a well made mount for it, and nothing else.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

What does perfect fit mean
A shallow scoop is cut into the underside of each shoulder so a straight wedding band slides into that recess and finishes tight against the engagement ring instead of stopping short and leaving a gap.

Do I have to buy your wedding band for it to work
No. The notch accepts any straight band of ordinary width. We make a matching one so the metal and finish agree exactly, but it is not a requirement.

Is there a hidden halo on this ring
No. This is the completely plain version. If you would like a hidden halo added we can do that as a custom order.
