An oval cut lab grown diamond in four claws over an open trellis gallery, carried on a band of large round brilliants that continues the complete way round the finger, every stone held between prongs shared with its neighbours.

This is an eternity band that happens to have a solitaire on it, rather than a solitaire that happens to have stones on its shoulders, and the difference is in the scale of the accents. They are not pavé. Each one is a proper round brilliant, large enough to read individually, and rather than being sunk into metal and held by tiny raised beads they sit up in the open between prongs that each grip two stones at once. That leaves the girdle and a good part of the pavilion of every accent exposed on both sides, so light enters them from underneath as well as above and each returns far more of it than a bead set stone of the same size could. The run continues across the palm with no plain section anywhere, so from the back of the hand the ring is a closed circle of diamond. Above it the head is left completely undecorated, four claws over an open trellis, because a setting this busy underneath needs the centre stone framed by nothing at all.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is shown in the photographs, which lets the whole circle read as one unbroken line of diamond. Yellow and rose gold pick out each prong as a warm marker between stones.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

How is shared prong different from pave
Pavé sinks small stones into metal and holds them with tiny raised beads. Shared prongs hold larger stones up in the open, each prong gripping two neighbours, so far more of every stone is exposed to light.

How is this different from your other full coverage ring
Our other eternity design pairs fine pavé with a visible halo and a set collar rim. This one has no halo at all and uses much larger shared prong stones, so it reads as an eternity band carrying a solitaire.

Can a full eternity ring be resized
Only within a very narrow margin, because a sizing cut would fall through set stones. This is why we make each ring to your measured size, and why we offer a three quarter coverage version if you expect your size to change.

Are the stones secure with prongs shared between them
Yes. Each prong is substantial and is doing two jobs at once, which is a standard and long proven construction for eternity bands. We check and tighten every prong during servicing, which is included for life.

Is it comfortable with stones on the palm side
Yes. The stones sit level with the metal and the interior is comfort rounded, so nothing projects against the finger.

Why is the head left plain
Because the band is already carrying a great deal of light. A halo on top of a full eternity leaves the eye nowhere to rest and makes the centre stone harder to read, not easier.

Why buy a lab grown diamond

A ring like this needs a great many sizeable accent diamonds, all matched, in addition to the centre. In mined material that is a very expensive proposition. Lab grown makes it achievable, so an E colour VVS2 oval of two to five carats sits above a full circle of matched shared prong diamonds, in fully hallmarked metal, with a traceable origin and no mining.
