An oval cut lab grown diamond in four claws above a hidden halo, on a shank set with round brilliants large enough to fill almost the entire width of the band, held in heavy shared beads down both shoulders.

The choice that defines this ring is the size of the accent stones. Micropavé uses stones small enough that the eye never resolves them individually, so the shank reads as a continuous shimmer of light. These are the opposite. Each accent is large enough to fill nearly the whole width of the band, so you see individual diamonds with their own facets and their own flashes rather than a general glitter, and the shoulders read as a proper row of stones. Working at this scale changes the setting as well. Small pavé is held by tiny raised beads worked up out of the surrounding metal; stones this size need substantial shared beads between neighbours, each one carrying two stones at once, and the metal has to be cut away deeply between them so the stones sit clear rather than drowning in gold. What you get is a bolder, more valuable looking shoulder than fine pavé gives, at the cost of the smooth continuous line micropavé produces. Beneath the centre stone a hidden halo follows the oval outline, so the head has its own separate flash in profile.

Band details

A slim shank almost entirely filled by its accent stones across the shoulders, finishing plain across the palm. The interior is smooth and comfort rounded.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. Yellow gold is shown in the photographs, where the heavy beads read as warm punctuation between each stone. White gold lets the shoulders run as one bright band.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

How is this different from ordinary pave
The accent stones are far larger, filling almost the whole width of the band, so you see individual diamonds rather than a continuous shimmer. It needs heavier shared beads and deeper cutting between stones.

Which looks better, large stone pave or micropave
Neither is better, they do different things. Large stones look bolder and more valuable and give distinct flashes. Micropavé gives a smoother, more continuous line of light. This ring is firmly the first kind.

Are larger pave stones more secure
Generally yes. A bigger stone sits in a deeper seat held by more substantial beads, so there is more metal doing the work than on a micropavé stone.

How is this different from your other hidden halo pave rings
One uses French cut pavé at three quarter coverage, one a compact collar with fine pavé, one a petite twist. This is the boldest of them, with the largest accent stones we set on a shank.

What is a hidden halo
A ring of small diamonds set around the outer wall of the collar beneath the centre stone. It is invisible from directly above and shows as a bright line when the hand turns.

Can this ring be resized
Within a limited range, using the plain section across the palm. Larger changes would run into the set stones, so we prefer to make it to your measured size.
