An oval lab grown diamond in four claws on a fine band whose accents alternate between marquise cuts and round brilliants. Because the two shapes have different widths, the outline of the shank swells and narrows along its length, giving the band a shallow wave rather than a straight edge.

Whether that wave is visible at all depends entirely on the metal. In yellow or rose gold, the warm shank is a different colour from the white accents, so the eye separates stone from setting and reads a row of individual stones sitting on a band with a straight edge. In white gold the tones match, the boundary between accent and metal disappears at any normal distance, and what the eye sees instead is the outer silhouette of the whole assembly, which is the wave. Band details

The shank is fine, with each accent in its own claw seat and only a bead of metal between. The lower half is left plain and rounded, so the wave sits where it can be seen and the part against the finger stays smooth.

Yes. It is carbon in the same crystal structure as a mined diamond, with the same hardness and the same optical properties, graded on the same scales.
