Oval Cut Lab Grown Diamond Low Profile Full Bezel Ring on a Flat Band

An oval cut lab grown diamond enclosed in a full bezel that sits as low as the stone allows. There is no gallery beneath it and no rise at the shoulders. The band runs into the bezel wall directly, at the same level, so the setting is almost flush with the finger. That is what makes this different from our other bezel rings, several of which lift the stone on an open gallery or a cathedral arch for height. Here the whole ring is deliberately flat. Nothing stands proud, nothing catches, and the profile from the side is a single clean line broken only by the oval. The shank is flat faced and even in width the whole way round rather than tapering. E colour, VVS2 clarity, free IGI certificate. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Band details

A flat faced band, even in width the whole way round, running straight into the bezel wall with no rise or taper at the shoulders. No stones, engraving or milgrain.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. A bezel puts solid metal directly against the diamond, so the colour contrast is stronger here than on any claw set design. Yellow and rose gold ring the oval in a warm outline. White gold and sterling silver let the rim merge into the stone so the diamond reads larger.

Frequently asked questions

What does low profile mean?
The stone sits close to the finger rather than raised up on a gallery or cathedral arch. It makes the ring less likely to knock against things, easier to wear under gloves, and it sits flat beside a wedding band.

How is this different from your other oval bezel rings?
The others lift the setting for height, either on an open gallery or with a tapering shank that rises into the bezel. This one deliberately does neither. The band and the bezel meet at the same level and the shank is even width throughout.

Does a low setting make the diamond look darker?
A little less light enters from the sides than on a raised setting. On an E colour VVS2 stone with an excellent cut there is plenty of brilliance regardless, but if maximum light return matters most to you, ask us to raise it on a gallery at no extra cost.

Is a bezel more secure than claws?
Yes. A continuous rim of metal holds the whole girdle rather than gripping at four or six points, and there are no prongs to bend or snag.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
