An oval cut lab grown diamond held in four claws, on a band whose shank divides into two strands that cross over one another at each shoulder. One strand is left plain and polished, the other is pave set with small diamonds, and where they meet just below the head they form a clear crossing point on both sides, which is why this is called an infinity twist. The crossing does the work that a halo or a heavy setting would do on another ring. It draws two lines up toward the stone and hands the eye to it, so the oval sits at the meeting point of the design rather than simply on top of a shank. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

The whole effect depends on contrast between the plain strand and the pave one, so metal colour decides how strongly the twist reads. Yellow and rose gold separate the two strands clearly as they cross, white gold blends them into a single shimmering line. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and better supports two fine crossing strands.

Frequently asked questions

What is an infinity twist band?
A shank that splits into two strands which cross over each other near the head, echoing the shape of an infinity symbol. Here one strand carries pave and the other is plain, so the crossing is visible as a change of texture as well as of line.

Is the twist comfortable to wear?
Yes. The strands are joined and finished smooth on the inside, so what touches the finger is an ordinary rounded shank. The twist exists on the outer face only.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
Not completely, because the strands rise and cross near the head. A shaped or contoured band solves this and we can make one to follow the curve.

Will pave stones fall out?
Properly bead set pave is secure, but any pave ring benefits from a check every year or two. Our lifetime pave and prong check covers this at no charge.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut grade and carat weight.
