An oval cut lab grown diamond is claw set over a basket wrapped in micro pave, and the same fine stones continue along both shoulders of the band. It is the most requested combination we make. The hidden halo lifts the centre stone and adds a line of light under the girdle, while the pave shoulders carry that sparkle down the finger, and together they make a 2 carat oval read considerably larger than the same stone on a plain band. Nothing widens the outline from above, so the ring keeps a clean solitaire silhouette.

Band details

The shank carries a single row of micro pave diamonds held by shared claws raised from the metal, running along the top of each shoulder and stopping before the base of the finger. The underside is plain and rounded for comfort. All pave stones are matched to the centre stone for colour and clarity.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm look shown in the photographs and separates the pave clearly from the band. White gold, rhodium finished, merges the pave, the hidden halo and the centre stone into one continuous run of light. Rose gold gives the softest reading. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

It lifts the stone slightly and puts a line of light under the girdle, so the ring sparkles in profile without changing the clean outline from above.

Why do ovals look bigger than rounds
An oval spreads its weight along the finger rather than into depth, so for the same carat weight it presents a larger face up area and lengthens the finger.

Will the pave stones fall out
Each stone is held by claws raised from the metal, not glued. We recommend a check every 12 to 18 months, which we do free of charge.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The shank is straight, so a plain or pave band sits flush on either side with no gap.

How long does it take to make
