An oval cut lab grown diamond is held in four fine claws on a band that carries individually set round accent diamonds, largest at the shoulder and reducing in size as they run away down the shank. Each accent has its own claw setting with polished metal between, so the band never becomes a solid line of pave. That graduation does two things. It leads the eye smoothly into the centre stone rather than stopping at it, and it lets the shank stay very fine, which in turn makes the oval look considerably larger than its carat weight suggests.

Band details

The shank is a slim polished wire. Round brilliant accents are claw set along the top of each shoulder in decreasing sizes, matched to the centre stone for colour and clarity. The spacing between them is deliberate, leaving the metal visible so the ring keeps a light, airy look. The back of the band is plain, which keeps it comfortable and easy to resize.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm contrast against the white stones shown in the photographs. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the accents merge into a continuous line of light. Rose gold gives the graduated line a softer feel. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate

Why do ovals look bigger than rounds
An oval spreads its weight along the finger rather than into depth, so for the same carat weight it presents a larger face up area and visually lengthens the finger.

Will such a fine band hold a large stone
In 14K or 18K gold, yes. For 4 and 5 carat centre stones we thicken the shank slightly under the head so the setting stays rigid, without changing the look from above.

Are the accent diamonds included
Yes. Every accent stone is included in the price and matched to your chosen centre stone for colour and clarity.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The base of the shank is straight and plain, so a plain or accent band sits flush on either side.
