An oval cut lab grown diamond in a four claw head with a pear shaped diamond set either side pointing outward, on a plain polished band. Every stone in this ring is a curve. The oval is a closed ellipse, the pears are ellipses that come to a point, and nothing anywhere has a straight edge or a corner. That consistency is what makes the trio read as a single flowing form rather than three separate diamonds placed in a row. The pears also taper away toward the shoulders, so the head narrows at both ends instead of finishing abruptly, which suits the elongated oval at the centre. The band is left completely plain so the outline carries the design. E colour, VVS2 clarity throughout, free IGI certificate for the centre stone. White gold merges the trio into one continuous curved form and makes the head look widest, yellow and rose gold outline each stone so you read three. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and better protects the points of the pear side stones.

Frequently asked questions

Why pear side stones with an oval centre?
Because every shape in the ring is then a curve. A pear is an oval with a point, so the three stones share the same geometry and read as one flowing form. Angular sides such as trapezoids would contrast with the oval instead of continuing it.

What does a three stone ring mean?
The three stones are usually read as past, present and future, one for where a couple began, one for where they are, one for what is ahead. It is why trilogy rings suit both engagements and milestone anniversaries.

Does the carat weight include the pears?
No. The carat option you choose is the weight of the oval centre only. The two pear side stones are additional and scale in proportion at every carat weight.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
