An oval cut lab grown diamond enclosed in a full rub over bezel, on a slim band that tapers as it rises and flows directly into the setting. There are no claws anywhere on this ring, and no visible join between band and head either. The shank narrows toward the top and becomes the bezel wall, so the whole piece reads as one continuous line of metal that swells to hold the stone and returns to the finger. Around an oval that continuity matters more than it would around a round, because the bezel traces the long curve of the stone and turns its outline into a single unbroken ellipse of gold. A bezel shows more metal than any claw setting and this one flows into the band as a single form, so the colour defines the whole ring. Yellow and rose gold give a bold warm ellipse around the stone, white gold reduces the rim to a bright edge and lets the oval look as large as possible. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and resists denting on a bezel wall.

What is a bezel setting?
A continuous rim of metal that wraps the entire girdle of the stone and is burnished over its edge. It holds without claws, sits flush, and is the most protective setting there is.

Is a bezel more secure than claws?
Yes. Claws can bend or wear over time and need periodic checking. A bezel grips the whole perimeter at once, which is why it suits people who work with their hands or never remove the ring.

Does the bezel hide part of the oval?
It covers the girdle edge, the least visible part of the stone. The table and crown, where all the light return happens, stay completely open.

Does an oval look bigger than a round of the same weight?
Generally yes. An oval spreads its weight across a longer surface, presenting more face up area than a round of identical carat, and the elongated outline flatters the finger.

Will a wedding band sit flush?
