Band details

The shank is carved to the uneven section of a real twig, with leaves lifting away on both shoulders and a smooth rounded inside edge so only the outside carries the texture. Each ring is finished by hand, so the leaves sit slightly differently on every piece.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm antique reading shown in the photographs and is the natural choice for a twig design. Rose gold looks softer and slightly newer. White gold, rhodium finished, turns the carving into something closer to frost or silver birch. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Are the points of a marquise fragile
Both ends are the thinnest part of the stone, which is why each sits inside a V shaped claw that wraps it rather than beside it. Set correctly a marquise wears perfectly well.

Does a marquise look bigger than other shapes
Yes. For the same carat weight a marquise has the largest face up area of any common cut, because the weight is spread along a long shallow outline. It also lengthens the finger.

Will the leaves snag
They are laid close to the band and their edges are rounded and polished, so they catch far less than a raised claw setting.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
A matching twig band sits best and we make one to order. A straight plain band will show small gaps where the twig is uneven.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days because of the hand carving. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
