Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. A certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order, and the accent diamonds are IGI grade matched.

How hard is a garnet
Garnet sits between 6.5 and 7.5 on the Mohs scale. It is durable enough for regular wear but softer than a diamond, so we recommend removing the ring for heavy manual work and storing it separately from diamond jewellery.

Why does the stone look almost black in some light
Deep red garnets absorb a great deal of light in the body of the stone. In direct daylight the red opens up clearly. Under low indoor light it reads much darker, which is part of the appeal of this colour.

Are the points of a marquise fragile
Both ends are the thinnest part of the stone, which is why each one sits inside a V shaped claw rather than beside it. Set correctly a marquise wears well.

Are the accent stones real diamonds
Yes. They are lab grown diamonds, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds, graded E colour and VVS2 clarity.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
The accent clusters extend along the finger, so a curved or shadow band sits closest. We can make one to match this ring.

How long does it take to make
