With diamonds in two places, white metal gives the most seamless result, because the halo and the pave read as one continuous field of light. Yellow and rose gold separate the elements and make the design look more decorative. For everyday wear 14K is harder than 18K and holds bead set pave better over the years.

How do I choose between your marquise rings?
Honestly, by how much diamond you want beyond the centre stone. This one has both a hidden halo and pave. One has pave and no halo. Two have a hidden halo on a plain band. One is a six prong vintage version. The centre stone and the V prong protection are identical across all of them, so compare the galleries and pick the look.

Is more pave harder to maintain?
Slightly. More bead set stones means more places to clean around and more settings to check. Nothing dramatic, and the lifetime bead and prong check covers it, but if low maintenance is your priority our plain band marquise is the better buy.

Does the hidden halo show from above?
No. It sits under the basket and reads in profile and on the hand. From directly above you see the marquise and the pave band.

Are the marquise points protected?
Yes. Both tips sit under V prongs capping the thinnest part of the stone.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.
