Beside the centre stone sits a small triangle of three round accents, and just beyond it a single marquise lies along the shoulder pointing outward. Everything else is left bare. The band is a plain round wire, thinner than most, and it carries no stones at all.

The whole accent group on each side is smaller than the width of the emerald cut. It is there to soften the join between stone and band rather than to add sparkle of its own.

Why an emerald cut

An emerald cut shows the stone rather than the sparkle. Broad flat facets step down toward the table and give long flashes of light instead of the scattered fire of a brilliant cut. On a plain band like this one there is nothing at all to compete with it.

The band is round in section and completely plain from the shoulders back, so a wedding band of any profile sits against it cleanly.

Care

Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft brush. There is very little metalwork to trap residue on this design, so a quick brush around the clusters is enough. Rinse and dry with a lint free cloth.

Will a thin band bend
Not in normal wear. We use a slightly heavier gauge wire in 925 silver than in gold because silver is the softer metal.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, by two or more sizes. The band behind the accents is completely plain.

Yes. Moissanite is 9.25 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond among stones used in jewellery.
