An emerald cut lab grown diamond held in four squared claws on a plain slim band. Everything in this ring is a rectangle. The stone is rectangular, its facets are long parallel rectangles, and the four claws are finished as flat squares rather than rounded tips, so even the metal holding it repeats the same geometry. That consistency is the entire design. There is no halo, no pave and no accent stone anywhere, because introducing a curve would break the one idea the ring is built on. Set north to south with an open gallery beneath, so light travels up through the steps of the pavilion. E colour, VVS2 clarity, free IGI certificate. Step cut stones show their body colour more openly than brilliants, so a white metal keeps the emerald reading icy and lets the squared claws sit almost invisibly at the corners, while yellow and rose gold make all four read as deliberate blocks. For daily wear 14K is harder than 18K and keeps square claw edges crisp.

Frequently asked questions

What are squared claws?
Claws finished with a flat square top rather than a rounded tip. They hold the stone identically but repeat the geometry of a rectangular cut instead of contrasting with it, which is why they suit an emerald cut particularly well.

Why does an emerald cut sparkle less than a round?
It is cut with long parallel steps rather than many small facets, so it produces wide mirror like flashes instead of fine glitter. That open surface is also why clarity matters more in an emerald cut, and why we set only VVS2 stones.

Is an emerald cut good for everyday wear?
Yes, with one caveat. Its cropped corners are the most exposed part, which is why we protect each one under a claw. The flat top also sits lower than a brilliant, so it catches on clothing less.

Is a plain solitaire easy to pair with a wedding band?
It is the easiest of all. There is no pave to line up and the shank is straight where a band meets it, so almost any wedding ring sits flush.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.
