An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws on a slim band where sculpted metal leaves alternate with single round diamonds set like buds along the stem.

The leaves are carved in solid metal rather than set with stones, and each one is given a slight twist so it catches light on one face and falls into shadow on the other. That twist is what stops a row of leaves looking like a repeated stamp, and it is the part of the design that takes the most bench time.

Between the leaves sits a single round brilliant, set in its own claws and standing slightly proud. Alternating solid metal with a bright point of light is a very old way of decorating a narrow shank, and it works because the eye reads the rhythm before it reads either element on its own.

The head is deliberately plain, four claws over an open basket, so the emerald cut sits low and its long step cut facets stay uninterrupted by the botanical work below.

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white. Yellow gold, shown here, is the best choice for this design because the carved leaves need warm metal to read as foliage.

Frequently asked questions

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Are the leaves set with diamonds
No. The leaves are solid carved metal. The diamonds sit between them as buds, which is what gives the band its alternating rhythm.

Will the raised accents catch on clothing
The buds stand slightly proud but they are small and held in rounded claws. In normal daily wear the ring behaves like any accented band.

Can this ring be resized later
Within a size or two, using the plain metal underneath. Give us your size as accurately as you can. First resizing is free.

How is this different from your other leaf rings
Our pave leaf cluster ring fills each leaf with small diamonds. Our sculpted metal leaf vine ring has no stones on the band at all. This design alternates plain carved leaves with individually set diamond buds.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Almost. The leaves sit slightly proud along the shoulder, so a straight band meets the ring cleanly at the base. A contoured band follows the pattern more closely.

How do I clean it
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working around each leaf and bud.

Which metal should I choose
Yellow or rose gold for the most convincing botanical look. White gold or sterling silver if you want the leaves to read as sculpture rather than foliage.
