An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four ball tipped claws, with a dense cluster of marquise, pear and round diamonds gathered on each shoulder, on a plain rounded band.

The shoulders are the whole design. Rather than one shape repeated in a row, each side carries a mixture, a marquise lying lengthwise, a pear turned outward, and rounds packed into the gaps between them, all claw set individually with small gold beads worked in wherever two stones meet. Nothing is spaced regularly and no two positions are identical left to right in the way a machine would place them, which is what gives the cluster its scattered, grown quality rather than a mechanical one. The stones sit low, level with the girdle of the centre stone, so the whole head stays flat and wide rather than tall.

Against all of that, the emerald cut is completely unadorned. Four plain claws, no halo, and a long rectangle of parallel step facets that gives broad slow flashes while everything around it glitters. That contrast is the reason a step cut is the right centre stone for a busy shoulder. A round brilliant of the same size would compete with the cluster instead of anchoring it. Behind the clusters the band is plain and rounded with nothing set into it.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why mix three different accent shapes
A single repeated shape reads as a pattern. Mixing marquise, pear and round makes the cluster read as something gathered rather than arranged, which is the vintage effect this design is after.

Will the clusters catch on clothing
No. Every stone is set low, level with the girdle of the centre stone, and each claw is filed down and polished flat.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Will a wedding band sit flush
Not entirely, because the clusters spread along the finger. We recommend a contoured band shaped to follow them and can quote for it with the ring.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, using the plain section at the back of the shank.

How is this different from your other cluster shoulder rings
The smaller cluster designs use four or five stones on each side. This one carries a full spread of mixed shapes and roughly three times the accent weight.
