Green against white is the oldest colour pairing in jewellery for a reason. The eye reads the emerald green immediately, and because the leaves sit low and to the sides they frame the center stone instead of crowding it. Two leaves on each shoulder is enough to make the design read as botanical. More would have turned it into a cluster.

The band is a true twist rather than a carved imitation of one. Two rounded strands leave the setting on each side, cross over, and rejoin into a single shank at the base of the finger. Everything is left polished, with no pave anywhere, so the ring stays easy to wear and easy to clean, and the emeralds have plain metal around them to sit against.

Band details

Two rounded strands twist together from the shoulders down to the base of the finger and merge into a single comfortable shank. The finish is fully polished inside and out, and the inner edge is domed so the ring turns easily on the finger.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver, or 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Every metal is fully hallmarked. White gold is finished with rhodium for a bright cool white. Yellow gold is the traditional partner for emerald green and is what we photograph, but white metal gives the green a cooler, more modern look.

Is the center stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is real diamond. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond. The only difference is where it was grown.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Are the green stones real emeralds
Yes, the leaves are genuine marquise cut emeralds, selected and matched for colour as a set of four.

How should I care for the emeralds
Emerald is softer than diamond and does not like heat or harsh chemicals. Clean the ring with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, and avoid steam or ultrasonic cleaners. Remove the ring for cleaning, gardening and swimming.

Can this ring be resized later
Yes. The twist merges into a plain shank at the base, which a jeweller can size in either direction. Your first resizing with us is free.

How is this different from your other vine rings
Our sculpted metal leaf vine ring uses carved metal leaves and no stones. Our open branch ring uses marquise diamonds as leaves. This design is the only one that uses green emeralds, and it keeps the band completely plain so the colour stands alone.

Does a wedding band sit flush against it
Not fully flush, because the twist and the emerald leaves sit proud. A contoured band follows the line better and we can make one to match.

Can I have the emeralds in a different shape
Yes. Pear and round emeralds both work in this setting. Tell us what you would like and we will quote it.

Which metal should I choose
Yellow gold gives the warmest, most traditional green and gold look. White gold or sterling silver makes the emeralds read cooler and sharper. Rose gold sits between the two.
