An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four ball tipped claws, on a slim band set with round diamonds that alternate large and small along both shoulders, each held on its own with polished metal between.

The pattern is deliberately simple. A larger round sits nearest the head, then a smaller one, then a larger again, and the sequence continues down each shoulder before the band closes into plain metal. Each stone is claw set individually rather than packed into a channel, and the short run of polished gold between them is what gives the design its rhythm. It reads as a row of separate diamonds, not a strip of pave, which suits a step cut centre far better because it does not create a continuous field of sparkle that competes with the slow flashes of the emerald cut.

All of it sits low. The accents are set level with the girdle of the centre stone, the claws are drawn down flat, and the band is slim enough that the ring keeps a delicate outline even at four or five carats. Above them the emerald cut is completely unadorned, no halo and nothing around the girdle, so the sharp rectangle of the outline stays exactly that.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why alternate large and small accents
Even sized stones read as a row. Alternating the size gives the shoulder a rhythm and makes each diamond read as its own stone rather than as part of a strip.

Why not use pave instead
Pave creates a continuous field of fast sparkle, which competes with the slow broad flashes of a step cut. Spacing the stones keeps the emerald cut as the quiet centre of the ring.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Will a wedding band sit flush
Yes. The head sits low on a straight shank and a plain band meets it cleanly.

Can this ring be resized
Yes, using the plain section at the back of the shank.

How is this different from your other spaced accent rings
The other spaced design alternates marquise with round and adds a hidden halo. This one uses rounds only, alternating in size, with no halo under the stone.
