An emerald cut lab grown diamond in four claws over a hidden halo, on a band where marquise and round diamonds alternate along both shoulders, each set on its own with small gold beads between them.

What makes this band different from a pave shoulder is the spacing. Instead of a solid line of small stones packed edge to edge, each accent is set individually with a short run of polished metal and a pair of tiny gold beads between it and its neighbour. The marquises lie lengthwise along the finger, the rounds sit between them, and the sequence alternates the whole way along the shoulder. That rhythm of stone, metal, stone reads as a chain rather than as a strip of sparkle, and it is a pattern taken directly from Edwardian and early Art Deco work.

Beneath the head, a hidden halo of small round diamonds runs around the girdle of the emerald cut, below the table where it cannot be seen from directly above. It lifts the stone enough for a wedding band to meet the shank flush, and it puts light back under a step cut that has little fire of its own. The centre stone itself is left completely unframed from above, so the sharp rectangle of the emerald cut stays exactly that.

Band details

A slim shank carrying the alternating accents along both shoulders and closing into plain polished metal at the back. The interior is smoothed and comfort rounded.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond
Yes. It has the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale and the same optical behaviour as a mined diamond, and it is graded on the same scales by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the center stone is included at no extra charge.

Why space the accents instead of using pave
Pave gives a solid line of light. Spacing each stone with metal and beads between gives a rhythm, which is a much older look and lets each individual accent be read as its own stone.

What is a hidden halo
A ring of small pave diamonds set around the girdle of the centre stone but below its table, invisible from directly above and bright from every other angle.

Do the marquise accents catch on things
No. They lie flat along the finger rather than standing proud, and every claw is filed down and polished.

Do emerald cuts show inclusions more than other shapes
Yes. The open step facets hide far less than a brilliant does, which is why we use VVS2 clarity for the centre stone.

Will a wedding band sit flush
Yes. The hidden halo raises the head just enough that a straight band meets the shank without a gap.

Can this ring be resized

How is this different from your other accented emerald cut rings
