An emerald cut lab grown diamond set over a pave hidden halo, on a slim band carrying round diamonds that reduce in size as they travel away from the centre. The stones are spaced rather than packed, so metal shows between them, and because each one is smaller than the last the band appears to taper even though it does not. Against the hard straight lines of an emerald cut, a row of softening circles is a deliberate contrast.

Band details

The shank is slim and rounded, carrying the graduated rounds along the top of both shoulders and stopping before the base of the finger. The underside is plain. Because the stones are spaced rather than continuous the band stays light on the hand.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm reading shown in the photographs and makes the spacing between stones part of the design. Rose gold is softer. White gold, rhodium finished, blends the whole band into one line of light. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

Why does an emerald cut sparkle differently
It is a step cut. Its long parallel facets act like mirrors, giving broad flashes rather than fine scintillation, and it shows the clarity of the stone very openly, which is why we use VVS2.

What does graduated mean
The side stones reduce in size step by step as they move away from the centre. It draws the eye inward and makes the centre stone read larger.

Can you see the hidden halo when the ring is worn
Only from the side and at close range. From directly above the outline of the emerald cut is unchanged.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Because the side stones sit slightly proud of the shank, a curved or shadow band sits closest. We can make one to match.

How long does it take to make
Made to order rings usually leave our workshop within 12 to 16 working days because the side stones are matched by size. We confirm the date by email once your size is set.
