Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Distance pave works by contrast, since the whole point is seeing metal between the stones. Yellow and rose gold make the spacing obvious and give the band its rhythm. In white gold the gaps close visually and the band reads closer to conventional pave. A white metal also keeps the emerald cut looking as colourless as possible, which matters on a step cut because it shows body colour more readily than a brilliant.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from your other emerald distance pave ring?
The other one has a hidden halo beneath the basket as well as the spaced band, and its gallery is limited to three photographs. This one has no halo and a fuller set of images. Same family, so compare both and pick on the halo and the photographs.

What is distance pave?
Accent diamonds set individually with visible metal between them rather than packed tightly. Sometimes called spaced or floating pave. Fewer stones, a different look, and easier to clean around than full pave.

Why does an emerald cut sparkle less?
By design. Step cuts produce long broad flashes rather than the fine scattered sparkle of a brilliant cut. If you want maximum fire in a rectangular stone, a radiant cut is the better choice, and we build those too.

Does an emerald cut show inclusions more?
Yes. The large open table acts like a window into the stone, which is exactly why we set E colour VVS2 here rather than lower grades.

Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. Same carbon structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. Only the origin differs.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order.

How long does it take to make?
