Elongated Radiant Cut Lab Grown Diamond Ring with Three Sided Pave Band and Hidden Halo

An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond in four claws over a hidden halo, on a wide band pave set on three faces. Most pave shanks carry a single row along the top of the band. This one is set on the top face and both side faces, so the shoulders are covered in diamonds from every angle rather than only from above. Milgrain beading runs along each edge to frame the three surfaces and stop them running into one another. The band is wider than a standard shank to carry that much stone, then tapers to plain polished metal at the base so it stays comfortable and can still be resized. The result is a ring that sparkles as much in profile as it does face on. Free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Made to order in Surat in ten metals and four carat weights.

Band details

Round pave diamonds are set across the top face of the band and down both outer side faces, three surfaces in total, with milgrain beading edging each one. The pave covers roughly two thirds of the shank and the base is left plain polished metal. A row of pave sits inside the basket beneath the centre stone.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Yellow gold, as photographed, frames each row of pave in warm metal so the three faces stay distinct. White gold and sterling silver blend them into one continuous sheet of light. Rose gold gives the softest contrast.

Ring size

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. The plain base means resizing is possible without disturbing the pave, but please order carefully because the pave sits close to where a jeweller would cut. Ask us for a free size guide if you are unsure.

Custom orders

We can reduce the pave to the top face only, plain the band entirely, remove the hidden halo, or change the centre to oval, emerald or cushion. For any other customization request please contact us at https://mapplegems.com/pages/contact and we will quote it before you order.

Frequently asked questions

What is three sided pave?
Diamonds set on the top surface of the band and on both outer sides, rather than only along the top. It means the shoulders sparkle when the ring is viewed from directly above and from either side, which single row pave does not do.

Does it use a lot more diamonds?
Yes, roughly three times as many accent stones as a standard pave shank. That is why the band is made wider, to give each row proper room, and why this ring sits at the higher end of our range.

What is milgrain here for?
It separates the three faces of pave so they read as distinct rows instead of blurring into one another, and it softens the edges where the band meets the finger.

What is a hidden halo?
A row of small diamonds set into the basket beneath the centre stone, facing outward instead of upward. Invisible from the front, it lights the profile and lifts the head slightly.

Is a heavily pave set band practical?
Reasonably, yes, provided the base is left plain, as it is here. Every stone sits in its own raised bead of metal and we offer a lifetime prong and pave check so anything that loosens can be tightened.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut and carat weight.

What is an elongated radiant cut?
A rectangle with cut corners and a brilliant faceting pattern underneath, so it has the outline of an emerald cut but the fire of a round. Cut longer than wide, it flatters the finger and looks larger for its weight.

Why buy a lab grown diamond

A lab grown diamond is chemically and optically the same as a mined one, graded on the same scales by the same laboratories, at a fraction of the price. On this design the saving applies to the centre stone and to every one of the many accent diamonds, which is what makes three sided pave affordable at all. It is grown rather than excavated, so there is no mining involved and the origin is never in question.
