An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond is claw set at its corners on a band so fine it almost disappears against the finger. Along each shoulder a small marquise accent sits between two round brilliants, spaced with polished metal between them rather than run together as pave. The centre stone is what you notice first because there is so little metal beside it, and the accents only reveal themselves when the hand moves. It is the most restrained way we know to put a large rectangular stone on a delicate band.

Band details

The shank is one of the finest we make, a slim polished wire carrying a marquise accent flanked by round brilliants on each shoulder. Each stone is individually claw set. The spacing is deliberate, leaving metal visible so the band stays delicate and the centre stone reads as large as possible. The lower half of the shank is plain and rounded for comfort and easy resizing.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. Yellow gold gives the warm look shown in the photographs and outlines the rectangular stone clearly. White gold, rhodium finished, makes the fine band almost vanish so only the diamond remains. Rose gold gives the softest reading. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What length to width ratio is used
Elongated radiants are usually cut between 1.3 and 1.5. That is what gives the long slim look on the finger rather than the squarer classic radiant.

Will such a fine band hold a large stone
In 14K or 18K gold, yes. For 4 and 5 carat centre stones we thicken the shank slightly beneath the head so the setting stays rigid, without changing how the ring looks from above.

Does a thin band make the diamond look bigger
Yes, noticeably. With less metal beside the stone there is nothing to give the eye a competing reference, so the same diamond reads larger than it would on a wide band.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The base of the shank is straight and plain, so a plain or accent band sits flush on either side.

How long does it take to make
