An elongated radiant cut lab grown diamond in a four claw setting, on a slim band with round pave diamonds running down both shoulders. This is the middle ground between a bare solitaire and a fully decorated ring, and it is the version most people actually want. The pave stops roughly two thirds of the way around, so the lower shank stays plain, which keeps the ring comfortable, easy to resize and easy to wear against a wedding band. The centre stone sits in an open basket with no halo of any kind, hidden or otherwise, so the light path under the diamond stays completely clear. Free IGI certificate for the centre stone. Band details

A slim band set with round brilliant pave diamonds along both shoulders, each held in its own bead of raised metal with a fine metal edge running alongside. The pave stops before the base so the lower shank is smooth polished metal. The gallery beneath the centre stone is left open.

Metal options

Available in 925 sterling silver, 10K yellow gold, 10K rose gold, 10K white gold, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, 18K rose gold and 18K white gold. Yellow gold, as photographed, sets up a warm line either side of the colourless pave. White gold and sterling silver blend the pave into the band so the shoulders read as continuous sparkle. Rose gold gives the softest contrast of the three.

Ring size

Every ring is made to your finger size, so choose your size at checkout. Because the lower third of the shank is plain, resizing is straightforward without disturbing the pave. Ask us for a free size guide if you are unsure.

Custom orders

We can run the pave all the way around as a full eternity shank, remove it entirely for a plain band, add a hidden halo under the centre stone, or change the shape to oval, emerald or cushion. Frequently asked questions

What is an elongated radiant cut?
A rectangle with cut corners and a brilliant faceting pattern underneath. It has the clean outline of an emerald cut but scatters light in small bright flashes like a round. Cutting it longer than it is wide makes it look larger and flatters the finger.

Why does the pave stop partway around?
Two reasons. It keeps the underside of the band smooth against the finger, and it leaves clean metal for a jeweller to work with if the ring is ever resized. Full eternity pave looks impressive but complicates both.

Is there a hidden halo on this ring?
No. The basket is left open and the only accent stones are on the shoulders. If you want a hidden halo added we can do that as a custom order.

Will the pave stones fall out?
Each sits in its own raised bead of metal and every setting is checked before shipping. We also offer a lifetime prong and pave check, so you can send the ring back at any time for tightening.

Does this sit well with a wedding band?
Yes. The head sits low without a halo lifting it, and the plain lower shank means a band can sit alongside without rubbing against pave.

What is the difference between a lab grown and a mined diamond?
Only where it was made. A lab grown diamond is carbon in the same crystal structure with the same hardness, refractive index and grading scales. IGI grades both the same way.

Do I get a certificate?
Yes. A free IGI certificate for the centre stone comes with every order, listing colour, clarity, cut and carat weight.

Why buy a lab grown diamond

A lab grown diamond is chemically and optically the same as a mined one, graded on the same scales by the same laboratories, at a fraction of the price. That is what makes a VVS2 E colour elongated radiant at 4 or 5 carat achievable alongside a fully pave set shank. It is grown rather than excavated, so there is no mining involved and the origin is never in question.
