An elongated hexagon step cut lab grown diamond held in six claws, with a kite shaped step cut diamond on each side. Every stone in this ring is a straight edged geometric cut and none of them is a shape you will find in a conventional engagement ring. The hexagon has six flat sides and step facets running in parallel bands, and the two kites are four sided with their long points aimed outward along the band, so the three stones together form a single angular block with no curve anywhere in it. Step cutting all three keeps the light behaving the same way across the whole head, broad flashes rather than sparkle. The band is plain so nothing softens the geometry. What is a hexagon cut diamond?

What is a kite cut?
A four sided diamond shape with two long sides and two short ones, coming to a point at each end. Used here as side stones with the long points aimed away from the centre.

Are the corners and points fragile?
