East West Radiant Lab Grown Diamond Ring with Accented Wire Band

A radiant cut lab grown diamond turned sideways across the finger, on a fine wire band carrying a single small accent diamond just above and just below the setting. Two stones, no pave row, no halo. The band is barely there and the accents are placed where they mark the line of the shank rather than decorate it, so the rectangle of the centre stone is left to span the finger with almost nothing around it.

Band details

The shank is a fine plain wire with no widening at the shoulders, interrupted only by the two accent stones. Everything else is left polished and bare, which is what allows the east west stone to look as wide as it does.

Metal options

Choose 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating, or solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, rose or white. White gold, rhodium finished, gives the near invisible band shown in the photographs. Yellow gold draws a fine warm line around the finger instead. Rose gold sits between the two. Every metal is hallmarked and every carat weight is available in every metal.

Is the centre stone a real diamond
Yes. A lab grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond and is graded on the same scale by the same laboratories.

Does the ring come with a certificate
Yes. An IGI certificate for the centre stone is included at no extra cost with every order.

What does east west setting mean
The long axis of the stone runs across the finger rather than along it. It reads bolder and more contemporary, and it suits shorter fingers particularly well.

Why only two accent stones
Because the point of this design is how little there is. Two stones mark the line of the band without turning it into a pave shank, and they keep the eye moving along the finger rather than stopping at the centre.

Is a fine wire band strong enough
Yes, because the section is thickened out of sight beneath the setting where the load is carried. For 4 and 5 carat centres we recommend 14K or 18K gold rather than sterling silver.

Can I wear a wedding band beside it
Yes. The band is straight and even, so a plain band sits flush on either side. Because the stone sits sideways there is no overhang at the sides.

How long does it take to make
