Is a lab grown diamond a real diamond? Yes. A lab grown diamond has the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and brilliance as a mined diamond. The only difference is that it is grown in a laboratory rather than extracted from the earth. It is graded by the same laboratories using the same criteria.

What color and clarity are the diamonds in this ring? The emerald cut center stone and every accent are E color and VVS2 clarity. This matters more on this design than most, because the centre and the baguettes are all step cuts with long open facets that show tint and inclusions readily.
