The chevron band comes to a point at the bottom. Worn together they mirror each other and the whole thing reads as one elongated diamond outline rather than as two rings sharing a finger. This is the reason to buy them as a set rather than pairing a cluster ring with a straight band later.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eThe cluster\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eMarquise stones sit at the outer edges, pointing away from the centre, with round diamonds filling the spaces between them and the pear. If they were even slightly warmer in colour the pear would read grey beside them, and the effect compounds with the number of stones. It is crystallised carbon with the same cubic structure, the same 10 on the Mohs scale, the same refractive index of 2.42 and the same dispersion as a mined stone. Ours are grown by chemical vapour deposition and high pressure high temperature methods, then cut and polished by hand. This is not moissanite, not cubic zirconia and not a simulant.
